Education that counts; experience is how I learned. Story telling, examples, and giving others experience – Page is how I teach.
I have always been healthy and happy. After my Vietnam Experience, my attitude about life has been bright and as an optimist, but I stay prepared and ready for the unexpected. I learned, “Things don’t go as expected” (Beware of the 10% Blog). I have never been good about standing in line for anything (independent and prepared). I think outside the box, not easily intimated, and have had no fear of the unknown.
I, personally, have been threatened or attacked (some multiple times) by cattle, wild dogs, a buzzard, an armadillo, street gangs, sexual predator, drunks, robbers, hooligans, crazed horses, drug motivated individuals and/or groups, gorillas/rebels, corrupt/power induced government officials, police, and military (in and outside the United States).
These stories are some examples of how I have learned and how I presently live my life, more stories are in my books Mike’s World, “Live It”and“Book of Life”, and an urban and rural survival guide from social, personal, and situational turmoil from Natural or Man-Made Disasters, “Staying Alive and Fruitful”. Another Sign to Financially Prepared
I went to Sam’s (Wal-Mart owned, a world wide known American company) in Tapachula, Mexico, yesterday (February 9, 2011), they had a sign up that said they (Sam’s) will not accept United States dollars. The funny thing is, they do accept Guatemala money and other forms of currency as equal value as the Mexican Peso (both of which are unstable currency).
Guatemala has limited the exchange of US dollars to $500 ($100 bills only), they don’t even want our money. Make sure you have some gold and silver, in case you need to start a new life.
It is important now, more then ever, to have gold and silver in your direct possession and buried. Time is short, buy a minimum of $500-$1000 monthly in gold or silver at whatever the market price it is. Each month you will learn how the precious metal system works and learn where to buy it. Ask question and buy in different place until you find the place that is helpful to your personal concerns and you can trust.
This is my Security Travel Pack, I carry this when I travel.
Purchasing gold and silver is like buying a home; you do not buy it as an investment, but for your future security. Once you understand how to buy you can buy on line, locally, or http://www.craigslist.org/about/sites. I offer a class (Bribing) on how to buy, sell, use, and store gold, silver, and more. Who Needs a Friend?
March 8, 2011 – I was talking to a friend on the phone (Skype), explaining to him how the US Dollar is getting difficult to exchange. They use the excuse of drug money but the true is the money people down here in Central America do not want to be stuck with to many green backs.
His response was, “Are you going to be able to get out of there?” I had to clarify the meaning of my earlier statement. I was suggesting, he thin down his possessions (do some liquidation) and get out of debt and think of coming down here. At least come visit and see if the way of life is accommodating to him. When people come here, I offer classes on perosnal safety, and their health will improve with the natural food and some of the services which are offered in this stress free environment.
Down here adversity is a way of life, and as an American he could adapt to the life style easily now. But if he waits much longer his assets will dwindle, making the transition difficult and costly.
Like I have said in my Uncle Mike Says booklets, “In case of an emergency, have options on places to go; the other side of town, out of state, and out of the country.” There are different degrees of emergencies and degrees of action you may have to take. You need friends and family everywhere, sometimes you have to evacuate your position and you need to have options. That is why I started A No Stress Get-a-Way – My Blog; this is a way to network, and having a friend in extreme emergencies will be a life saver. When and if the time comes it is safer to get help from a friend. You may need a place of safety for you or your family, for a short time or for the long haul.
I never thought I would use this option even though I have been working on this for years, but it has been a blessing from God. For months I have been telling everyone not to spend money except for the essentials and to buy gold and silver for security Blog. My heritage and culture has taught me the essentials of life, “Friends, Family, Faith, and Gold and Silver”.
For thousands of years the Chinese have been ruled by many different monarchs, countries, and governments. They all wanted the best for the people and once they have control they take for their own benefits. History has not change, the young, weak (physically, financially, and emotionally), and stupid are always the majority that falls for the same old tricks.
Can you see the light?
I was doing a no no, traveling at night in Mexico when we came to a military road block. As they were going through the cab of my pick up one of them found my 3 cell mag flashlight. When he turned it on the whole place lite up as they all smiled with joy, the one in charge came over and took the flashlight.
He looked at it and turned it off and on, smiled and said, “Confiscate!”. And with a big grin on my face I said, “No” and keep my smile.
He repeated, “Confiscate”, but with a much more firm voice. I repeated with the same stupid smile, “No”. He looked around to all his men and said, I think, “Didn’t I say it right?” and all his men shook their as if they all agreed.
Then he turned to my travel companion and said, “Tell the gringo “confiscate” means I am going to take the flashlight and he has no choose.”
I was standing next to the front of the truck when my companion told me, “Confiscate means they are going to take the flashlight”. Loudly with intense anger I slapped the hood of the truck hard and said, “No” with a mean face and a long pause I quietly said. “I’m scared of the dark!”
Everyone jumped back even my companion as I startled them when I hit the truck. Then the commander asked my companion what I said. When he told them, they all stood there amazed, and then, they all started laughing. The commander gave me back the flashlight and said, “Loco Gringo, vamoose!” and we went on our way.

Music Calms the Savage Beast
I play (a loss term) the harmonica, mainly for my own entertainment, like magic tricks, works well as a tool to help others calm down and/or make it easier for others to talk to me.
One time we were stopped with all the traffic on a tropical jungle mountainous winding road, so Zena and I took a break. I played my harmonica while Zena sniffed around. The traffic started moving, but we stayed and had fun.
Bandits would stop the traffic and rob everybody, but when they heard my music (sound) they stopped robbing to find out what the noise was. We ended up drinking water and talking, and they stopped robbing for the day.

Example of Changing Attitude Without Force (2001)
I was in Venezuela during a government change (coup d’état); martial law in the day time where the military ruled the streets and gangs ruled the streets at night. I was surrounded by up to 100 of these gang members. I was scared when I raised my hand to shake hands with one of them and started coughing loudly and uncontrollably; as I reached out for help, everyone was jumping back. Then I coughed up a bright red light, causing mental terror to all that saw or heard me. I went into a routine where I would stick the light in my body and made some crazy moves while I screamed out in pain. I finished up by holding the light in the air and walked through the crowd as their eyes were wide open in terror, amazement, and astonishment.
In that part of the world, coughing means tuberculosis, a highly infectious disease. No one wanted to be close to me, and the last thing was to touch me. This trick will work well for men or women.
A good trick for women is a blood capsule in the mouth. When you get scared, bite it and let the blood ooze out of your mouth. Reach up with your hand, touch and spread the blood across your face, look surprised, scream, and run. If played out right, it will scare me, whatever plan I have will go on hold until I get over the shock of a scramming, bloody woman running crazy. The shock of watching the bleeding woman will allow you the opening to get away or go into your’re full out assault for your life.
Magic lights (D Lites) and fake blood is available at magic shops.

Attitude is Everything (2010)
I got in a situation where a man was acting disorderly, annoying, and belligerent to everyone in the lobby of our family hotel. I figured this type of behavior is bad for business; scaring the customers and employees. If we allow this type of behavior, we, as management, do not have the ability to handle difficult problems on short notice, or we, as management, are weak and have limits on what we, as management, will do.
I asked him to leave, my focus and attitude; this type of activity makes us look bad (“Lose Face”); this behavior needs to stop as soon as possible before someone gets hurt, and if I don’t do it, who will, without anyone getting hurt.
The man’s attitude was that my opinion of his conduct was incorrect, and who was I to make judgments about his actions (don’t judge me), and that he could stand his own ground, I couldn’t intimidate him, what was I going to do about it, and to hell with me.
Security was called, but the longer this conduct persisted, the worse he became. He lunged towards me; I hit his shoulder and as he spun around wrapping him up with his own arms and dragged him out the door and waited for the security guard. While we waited for the guard, he stood there screaming in rage. Then he came at me again, I went to a combat stance and he looked at me with a surprised look and back off.
Then the armed Security Guard came with his attitude – my appearance of authority and my shotgun will show the man I am in charge, defuse the situation by reason and intimidation, I can not use force (after all, I am armed), I do not want to make the man mad or there may be more problems. The security guard tried to reason with him and the man responded by turning hostile, pushing, and hollering.
One of the hotel workers, a young man, joined in to help the security guard. His attitude was, I need to help the guard, I am young and frisky, I am in the right and I feel some responsibility to help (attempting to Man Up), I will look good to management, I am not scared, and I do not have a plan. The boy’s actions escalated the situation even more.
The man’s attitude was that he has two against one, I am not intimidated, I am 40 and they were 19 and 55, one is too young and the other is too old; so he reacted be pushing both of them.
It was getting worse and worse, my attitude was to stop this before someone falls and hits their head, so I stepped in. The man went to a combat stance (like I did earlier) and I whacked the man in the throat. He grabbed his throat with both hands and calmed himself instantly as he was sucking for air. Everyone there told me to back off before I hurt the guy.
They continued to try to convince the man to leave, with no prevail, voices grew louder and then hostility flared up worse than before.
The man’s attitude was two against one and I am not intimidated, I am 40 and they are 19 and 55, one is too young and the other is too old, I showed them once and I will show them again, so the man went into some kind of crazy fit, slobbering, snorting, pushing and shoving violently.
My attitude was that nothing had changed since I got him outside, someone will get hurt, this has gone on long enough, the show needs to stop now, and we all need to get back to work. I stepped in front of him as he was huffing, puffing, nose was running, slobbering as he demonstrated his meanness, scaring everybody. I grabbed the man by both ears and twisted, he cried out like a little girl and he went up on his tippy toes, everyone stepped back as we walked calmly to the street, I released him and told him to leave, the man left, mad, and irritated.
Everyone was amazed; it was the first time they have ever seen that much violent behavior and then to see me, the nice big American, use controlled violence to stop the situation and calm things so quickly with no one getting hurt.
Two hours later, the man returned and apologized for his rude behavior and asked if he could join the celebration. I told him, “Have fun!” and he said, “Thank you and my ears still hurt a little”, I think. All of this happened in Spanish and all I understand is English.
A few days later I was told they have a law, “If you hurt someone, you go to jail”. They don’t believe in violence at all, even for self defense. To them, all violence is bad, and they have a very high crime rate (much higher then Mexico) and the people live in fear. That is why they didn’t want me to hurt the man and why they were amazed to see the positive side of violence.

Bribing and Negotiating are Useful Tools
As good Americans we are unaccustomed to how the bribing system words. First thing, I believe, just like with everything else, there is good and bad bribing. When the attitude is self advancement while others suffer and few benefit, bribing is bad. If no one is harmed in anyway and others benefit by your gesture of your generosity or actions, a bribe is a good thing. It is more as if you are sharing with others. That is why I would rather use my skills than money. When things get really bad, you will not have enough money. If you have enough, someone will kill you for it. For years and still now I tend to get stubborn and refuse to pay if I feel it is extortion.
One time we were crossing a border and experienced a lot of difficulty. My rich companion was scared and tipping everyone too much (up to $100), drawing the wrong kind of attention, putting both of us in danger. Once I figured out it was just an attempt to put the squeeze on us (extortion), I told my companion, “From this point on, I am the rich American and I am paying you to guide me. If any money changes hands, it will come from me.” Normally I do not lie, but when my life hinges on the next few seconds, anything goes. Usually my mystic life is enough to put doubt in the mind of my threat.
I pulled back, took my time, and found a man that worked with people to help them cross (that was his job, not a way to scam money). I knew I would be back through so I wanted to find a long term fix. As he was explaining to me how the system works I knew I was going to need his help now and may be in the future. As we talked he mentioned he had a son, we talked more and time went by. Later I told him we have a Chinese custom that the number one son needs to own gold and I wanted to be the first to give him some gold. Then I reach in my stash and pulled out a coin and gave it to him and told him, “This is for your son.”
His eyes opened widely as he gasped for air. He took it with a genuine thank you. Later he got us through without any hassles, at a lower price than was quoted earlier. Even now, we are good friends and whenever I cross he gets me through fast with no problems. Everything I told him was true and sincere. Some people call that a bribe, but to me I needed help, and if I can help another in any way I will. It just so happened the coin can help the whole family and it was a real 1/10 ounce gold coin (I had less than $40 in it).
Worth is in the eyes of the beholder. You heard, “Ones man’s junk is another man’s treasure.” That is why you need options. Worth does not necessarily need to be of great value. Anything that is pretty in appearance, useful, or odd, can have value beyond belief. I would rather use my skills and knowledge to influence others, other then using money. Before the end of our journey my companion ran out of money, but my skills and know how got us through the adventure.

Where do you go in an emergency?
I have been self-employed all of my life, one main reason is we have friends and family (some are from other countries). When they have a crisis, we will have work and a place for them until they can get themselves back together.
We have had the occasion to help others in emergencies and sometimes they came and lived with us just for the experience. We have had friends and family come stay for school or work, for weeks, months, and/or years at a time.
For years we have been there for others and it is nice to know you have a place to go if you need the help. Be ready to help others, because you are not that far from needing help from others.
Since we have family out of the country, some live in questionable parts of the world, we have been ready to take on a complete family. The funny thing is, we were ready, able, and looked forward to help others in the short or long term, and we ended up having a crisis going to them for the long term.
This is why I ask others where would you go if you had to leave your house for a short time or if there are major life changing event? Where on the other side of town, another county, next state, or even out of the country Blog? Think about it as you prepare, it is not necessary to plan on going anywhere, but at least keep it in mind as you prepare. If a person in Japan was prepared Page, with Potassium Iodide (KI) Blog, they would be safe and health now, and working on starting a new life, if they could survive the initial incident. But afterwards they may want to consider sending the family to safety for a month or two until they can figure out what is going on. A No Stress Get-a-Way – My Blog
I believe churches should be the community’s base of preparedness and safety, they have the people, resources, organization, and they should have the desire to help others. If you are attending a church, ask what they are doing to be prepared and ask what you can do to help. I regularly give to the Salvation Army. I have seen them in action, the Salvation Army does an excellent job with the resources they have in helping others which have a need. In a short time with little hostile response, they will give assistance; they truly want to help others. I do consult churches and church members on what action they can take to prepare.
Here in Central America, the churches and missionaries were organizing, helping others, and getting needed items to the people that need them within minutes after a disaster. The local government gives these organizations what they have, then within hours the federal government supplies will be exhausted, and then international supplies start coming in. All this time supplies are being loaded up and delivered in pickups, horse back, and carried by hand, supervised by missionaries. Hot Spot Ready List Page
Trouble in Miami
Zena and I stopped in Miami, Florida, for gas on our way to the Florida Keys as I was looking to find a boat so we could get a ride.
One block off the interstate the Miami police stopped me. Whenever the police stop me I get off the motorcycle, put up an umbrella to shade Zena (I know it will take a long time to get through the mess), raise my hands in the air (I carry a gun), and wait for instruction.
The police don’t like it when you do anything without being told, so right from the start they are ready to ticket me, they are just not sure what for. And I do give them plenty of reasons.
* I do not follow their orders (I do not stop where they want me to stop and get off the bike, traffic gets dangerous as people watch Zena on the motor cycle and I put up an umbrella for Zena because I know it will take some time)
* I carry a gun and other scary stuff (I am a conter-terrorist, what kind of tools you think I use?)
* A big dog on the front of my motor cycle has to be illegal (animal abuse in thier mind)
* The motor cycles looks overloaded and is a accident waiting to happen (that is right, but I have never got a ticket for that)
* I have a 2004 tag, which is a legally, and the bike is registered in Spanish, in Central America (everyone has a 2004 tag)
After they start asking questions it gets worse for me, they will have a lot of subjects to write plenty of tickets.
The policeman started asking questions, I was cooperating until he said he was going to take the dog (Zena). I am over 2,000 miles from home, I did nothing wrong, and I don’t know anyone in Miami.
I was getting ready to tell the policeman he cannot take my dog, which will lead to a bad situation. What would you do? I learned from that situation to ask for their supervisor, some people that are given authority do not know how to use it and that puts us all in danger.
Then a lady in the crowd of 20-30 people watching the dog on the motorcycle, said, “Mike, you almost made it, I live right here.” as she was walking towards us. The policeman asked, “Do you know this guy?” She paused and then said, “Yes.” She had no idea why they stopped me, all she knew, I was in trouble and how bad can a guy be riding with a dog on a motorcycle? The sign on the side of the bike said, “NoStressMike.com” so my name must be Mike.
The lady walked up and said, “Let me take the dog and you two can talk business.” Zena is leash trained, so she took Zena while I was ticketed for having a dog on a motorcycle. After the police left, we loaded Zena in her car and we left the county and then we loaded up and started back to Oklahoma. Later I was told that they like writing tickets in Miami because they know people will still come back and their court system is setup so a ticket would be hard and expensive to fight.
From that experience I learn with stupid police ask for the supervisor, you will still get a ticket but the situation will calm and safer for everyone. One time I was stopped and had 5 supervisors and the bomb squad before the got away clean.

Convenience Store Shooting (January 2007)
I relocated to start a new office in Topeka, Kansas, the end of 2006, the middle of December, the ice cream shop 2 blocks from my office was robbed. What kind of criminal robs an ice cream shop, sticks a gun in the face of a 16 year old girl, takes her money and then pistol whips her. I’m from a small town (700 population), so violent crime is usually limited. So I though I should probably put to use my God given right to protect myself and my Oklahoma concealed carry privilege.
Approximately 8:45 PM, Friday January 19, 2007, my friend and cousin, owns a convenience store, and was trying to convince me I needed to buy this one from him. Customers came in and out routinely while we talked. I wasn’t there more then 10 minutes when.
I heard a male voice say “This is a robbery, give me the money”. I looked up and there are 2 masked males, one pointing a large hand gun at the clerk, my friend. The demands continued with no prevail. Then the gunman looked at me, and then he turned the gun towards me. I responded, the gunman went down and the second man went out the door. Not knowing if the gunfight was over or if there were more, I persuade, but I knew the situation was over as the second man ran down the street.
As of January 1 of 2007, Kansas had its own concealed carry law go in affect. I believe this incidence was the first time concealed carry was use to stop a crime in progress in the state of Kansas. I learned and teach, when faced by two or more threats, high capacity magazine is a minimum in firepower and an AK-47 for a backup.
In the late 80’s I started training S.W.A.T. Teams in counter terrorism, specializing in hostage rescue. Hot Spot Tactics Page And to this day, in the private sector, I teach personal safety, counter-terror/kidnapping. So the use of violence and weapons are common tools in my life style. Who is No Stress Mike – Page Most people don’t make plans for personal safety, and now a days self-defense isn’t widely exercised, so you can imagine the community and the criminal elements’ surprise when someone would have the moral fiber to protect himself and others. The would be robber healed up, escaped from custody again, the first time I shot him he had escaped for 30 days, The police offered me protection, the guy I shot and other gang members came to my house with the intent to kill me and my family. But that is another story and will be in my final book, “Diary of a Dead Man”.
This is outside looking in, I was by the pop machine. The robber with the gun was just inside the window.
They keep the window in for a reminder of the shooting, but after time it started breaking more, so it had to be removed.
This was my carry at the time of the attempted robbery. It is on the backside – left or right hand draw.
I was being watched so I drew with my left hand and shot with my right hand.
After the gang came to my house for revenge, I change my carry to cover a threat of up to 12 gang members.
This whole experience showed me all people need to know what I know, and now I offer classes to those who’s lives means as much to them as mine does to me. Ideas in my booklet, blogs, class, and tactics “Win a Gunfight” really work, I beat my life on it.

How to handle a Bully (1990’s)
If the bully is part of a group, he needs friends for support; I see him as a threat. I don’t make long eye contact, I stay aware of my surroundings and other possible threats. Long eye contact is used for intimidation by the bully. I am focusing on my Plan A, and that is to strike fear or the possibility of fear into the attacker. My weapons are not apparent; but when the time is right, I strike. I feel if I display a weapon, the situation may escalate; normally my Plan A discourages violence by using violence. I start with the messenger or the leader, whichever is entering my space, and work my way out. The more blood and/or terrifying screams I can produce in the shortest amount of time, increases my success rate.
There has been times when I was fully armed (minimum of flashlight, 2 knives, and 4 handguns with extra magazines) facing 12 or more; younger, bigger, stronger, armed and/or unarmed threats with witnesses standing all around. When it was time to put up or shut up, I stopped the talk, I would take my jacket off and lay it on the hood of a car and disarm in front of all, and then I would step out in the open, totally unarmed. That act alone scared everyone, the witnesses and the possible threats. Some called that courage, but you and I know, I had a Plan A. If you have read Man Up (one of my helpful booklets), I said there are times when a man may have to stand with another man. When the witnesses saw me stand up or Man Up video when the odds were against me, I gained everyone’s respect; the witnesses will protect my weapons, and if I need help, they will jump in, at least that is what the threat and I were thinking.
Manning Up is not easy and there will be times you may suffer dearly, but you will be better for it.

Freedom Starts In Your Mind
Living Free is Not Easy
I have always heard, “Freedom is not free!” The obvious is our ancestors and our military has paid the ultimate/maximum price, with their lives. I feel, we all have an obligation to live a full free life that we were honored to receive, this brings us to another saying, “Use It or Lose It!” I was born with God Given Freedoms, Constitutional Rights, and I am not afraid to use my strength and abilities to protect my free will. All my life I have taken reticule for the way I have lived my life, “Outside the box”. Being self-employed requires using your own mind and imagination; certifications, regulations, and rules do not allow a person to excel, but only holds people back from releasing the greatness from within.
I believe my strong desire and ability to defend myself mentally, physically, financially, and spiritually, was the corner stone of the strength needed to feel and live “Free”. To get to that level you have to be prepared and have a plan, and when you are at that level you have a degree of confidence which will help you seek more from life. With confidence, you apply effort, which leads to experience. This experience is something to build on; if you are not capable for the next step you will be scared to take that next step. It is a series of steps, positive and negative, that prepare you for the experiences you need to build strength to succeed in reaching for the stars. Remember, it is the act of reaching for the stars that is meaningful, there are always more stars. Who is No Stress Mike Page
I Stand Behind My Beliefs
I have so much fun all the time it is hard for me to imagine using the violent talents I acquired through the years. I don’t feel or act any different then when I was younger, other then now I carry a gun. Most all the violent acts I have been involved in, I was out numbered and out gunned.
Without an uncontrollable temper there is no problem with anger, even my wife find it amazing how I can keep my cool (she does have a temper). I learned along time ago there is no reason to be alarmed if you have a Plan A. With a plan I have something to focus on, sometimes I do get scared, but I stick to the plan.
I really believe we all have the power to control our own lives and destiny, but most choose to give that responsibility to someone else or sell their soles to a misdirected belief that a house, job, or government is their security, instead of investing in ourselves, family, friends, skills, knowledge, gold, and silver. Weak peers and sheeple will hold you down, rise above the ridicule and stand strong with the strong.
My spiritual beliefs have me focus on sharing and helping others, when I can and they let me. I have no fear because I know the difference between right and wrong. I do what is right and I carry a gun (or weapon of choice) for what is wrong. That is a metaphor for doing good and not fearing the bad. We all live and die by what we believe. Freedom is Not Free
The death of my wife was an assassination (June 12, 1949 – August 9, 2012), all done while under medical care. The medical community is known for its role in legally killing, they literally have a license to kill. Common knowledge in Central America.

Starting a New Life with a Bus (2013)
Now (starting August 2012) since I am alone and homeless I had to make some decisions and it has been harder than I thought. I have been putting off hard and important decisions, but it has turned out every decision has affected my life. I have had many set backs, the Mazda pickup, it brought me back to the states, then it broke bad enough I had to savage it and the bus came out different then I thought.
Introducing my kind of work in the winter while our government is treating all of us as if we were criminals is not an easy task.
I have been keeping busy so I will not go into depression. It’s getting close to 6 months since my wife, Ana, was assassinated and the loneliness is still strong and painful.
The bus has been a savior (through the holidays), an adventure, and a pain in the butt, but at least I have a place to call home. Now I have a place to hang my hat I hope to go on with my new life. The front half of the bus I use to help others (Hoy Chi treatments) and my space is in the back half.
An old school bus would make a great project if it was for a different reason then I had. If you have room, they are lots of fun, inexpensive, and good things you can do with it. I will be sharing what I have learned so others won’t have to make as many mistakes as I did.
* Know what you want to do with your bus before you get it.
First, I wanted a bus for storage, or maybe for a camper, bug-out bus, and then I thought I may be able use it as a business and travel with it. Those are all a different bus, now I realize it.

face in my life along with solutions, good and bad.
Mike’s World, “Live It“ (Volume 1)
I shares true inspiring moments where I response to a world of inconsistencies, where it is not always easy to determine the aggressor from the prey. How can someone so gentle be so fearful when he is out numbered and out gunned as he raises a family in today’s environment of “What can I do other then call 911”.
In “Mike’s World” things can go from bad to worse, what you say and how you react can dictate the end of life the way you and everyone around you “Live It”.
I come from a world of violence with no outside support. I am an United States Marine Corp combat veteran (Vietnam), instructor in full contact for individuals, business, and SWAT Teams in counter terrorism (specializing in hostage intervention and recovery), and the first person to use concealed carry to stop a crime in progress in the State of Kansas (Topeka 2007).
This book is powerful on every level, I currently resides outside the United States performing lectures, educating and promoting preparedness, personal safety, and natural health throughout the world. When someone asks, “Why do you need a gun?” I tell them get this book.

Mike’s World “Book of Life” (Volume 2)
After the first book “Live It” everyone asks how can you do that kind of stuff, so this is an abbreviated biography so people can see I do not do stupid things even if it looks like it. This book is made up of a series of short stories of some of the experiences that have shaped my life. The book focuses from the time of our arranged married (early 1970’s) to our ordeal with life changing health issues (2009). Since a stretch of ill health has made me reevaluate our lives, I have had to figure where we’ve been so maybe I can have a better idea of where we’re heading.
I will be doing more Internet related projects, because we have relocated to Central America, for how long? depends on our health and ability to get us back in the swing of a new life. Life will never be the same for us. I am working towards using my past to help others form a future.
You should find this book entertaining, adventurous, and for anyone that knows me, this should help answer some questions about why I am the way I am. This is walk a mile in my shoes before you make judgment.

I thank my God, the United States Constitution, and “We the People” of United States for the opportunities we have been given.
